AUSTIN PETS ALIVE! REBRAND

The rebranding kicked off with an RFP for a brand refresh and a complete overhaul of the APA! website, which was about a decade old and had been organically built upon by various coding volunteers. It needed to vastly improve user experience, be responsive, and incorporate functions that would directly impact shelter operations (fundraising, adoptions, fosters, and volunteers). Please note that the RFP is password-protected.

Ultimately, we hired and collaborated with local agency, Masonry. 

AMERICAN PETS ALIVE! REBRAND

American Pets Alive! was being professionally branded for the first time and was unveiling itself as a new entity with a more targeted, ambitious purpose. Previously just an annual conference, American Pets Alive! was being developed into a true educational program, as well as the national outreach and shelter support arm of APA!'s work. As such, the brand needed to stand up to its more professional, legitimized and impactful purpose.

I took the organization through a brand/identity build that included a fresh website, workshops to distill the vision, mission and organizational objectives of AmPA!, and a new set of visual collateral. I also hired Masonry, as above, to be our agency partners through this project.
